Stadium Kart World Championship Goes Full Circle

February 23rd, 2010 Murrieta, CA It’s official! The Short Course Off Road Racing Industry declares The Stadium Kart World Championship as the new player in town. The event has come and gone, and all the hype leading up to the event, delivered as promised. Without question, the track provided the door to door racing which the drivers live for. The competitors showed up looking to challenge name brand talent and professional wheel-men. Every race effort that participated was rewarded with a great experience on a unique track. The Stadium Kart World Championship completes the full circle and supplied the fans of off road racing with a new format that combines short course trophy karts with a motocross style track.

Ken Johnson, Promoter of the Stadium Kart World Championship reflected on the event.” I just want to say thanks to everyone who came out and supported this first event. I am very pleased on the turnout and am looking forward to next year and working on steady growth. I see big things for the future of off road racing and this division will be part of the big picture and much more. Ryan Torres captured many spectacular images from the event. Make sure to preview them on his website, http://www.ryantorresphotography.com/Stadium_Kart_Sun/Lifestyle/Stadium_Kart_Sun.html.“

Here is what some of the participants had to say; Kyle Leduc - “The Stadium Kart World Championship was the funnest Trophy Kart race I have participated in. The Track was insane and the competitors were tough. It is awesome to see companies like Trophy Kart step up and provide the largest purse ever.” Jeremy McGrath - “All I have to say, is the experience was awesome and I had way more fun than I was expecting. Milestone Ranch is a perfect playground for the Pro drivers to get out for some wheel time and seems pretty challenging. It is great for beginners too. As much fun as the Elite Trophy Karts look, they are twice as fun too drive. With all the various athletes and drivers from different disciplines going head to head, the Stadium Kart World Championships delivered and was truly a blast!!”

Sheldon Creed – “The track conditions at Milestone Ranch was amazing. Hanging out with my friends and than racing against them, felt just like a motocross event. Everything was organized really well. My fa

We are stoked to share good news about Parker Porter’s condition and recovery. Ken Johnson delivered a special edition Trophy signed by his Hero Jeremy McGrath and all of the participating and from the Stadium Kart World Championship and a SC-10 RC Truck sponsored by Team Associated this Monday afternoon. Later in the evening, Parker personally called Ken and wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Ken reports that Parker says “All I can think about is racing Karts! I cannot wait to get back out there.”

The Parker Porter Benefit auction held on Race-Dezert.com was concluded on 2/22/2010 with Randy Minnier taking the final bid of $5,000 for the Twisted Labs Long Travel Rhino Package installed by Kinny Race Prep. Randy was also awarded a set ITP wheels and Tires for his contribution of support to Parkers recovery.
